abso-fucking-lutely

after two very stressful weeks on call for dave, we retreat ourselves to jamieson for a quiet weekend in the bush. reached there midnight awaken to beautiful burst of  red, orange and yellow maple trees. specatcular view. archie and dougal running like mad as if they’ve never been set free on ground.

it’s supposed to be relaxing weekend. spend lots of time walking and enjoying the riverside. do plenty photography. check out bushfire place and gold mining pathway, they’re incredible. so bizarre that thyme (herbs) grows first in the rummage of burnt forest.

first morning, i manage to find ingredients to make rock-hard pancake. rummaging through the fridge for some spread i ended up finding plenty bottle items backdated 10 years. quite an achievement in food preservation.

walk to the island, archie too happy beyond doubt and dougal was ecstatic to swim in the meetings of jamieson and gouldburn river. i was very scared he’s going to get trapped in the current and wooshed away. archie is so notty and dragged me to the ground  into mud chasing after the little spotty next door while dave catching dougal escaped from the lead.

had dinner at jamieson brewery and breakfast at the cafe which cost a fortune considering it should be local business.

apart from that, ive been going out plenty of times with bariah, shopping mostly. finding bariah’s birthday venue. gave out idea for "lentil as anything".

check out "lentil as anything" with bariah and fahmi. it’s the only place in melbourne i know of that allow you to put in donation money for what you think of the food value. the owner was named victorian australian of the year for his innovative and charitable restaurant idea. we had 4 mains, 5 slices cake, coffee and we put in $60. pretty generous but i was very satisfied with the food despite that they are all vegetarian.

rent out plenty of movies past weeks: osama, child star dicki robert, once were warriors, melinda&melinda, mostly martha.

lost my laptop+sthetescope+robbin’s pathology at officework clayton. what expensive bag that is, stupid thief!
